How to Start Up Your Very Own Successful Blog in 10 Simple Steps

How to Start Up Your Very Own Successful Blog in 10 Simple Steps

Hey, watsup guys is Emmy-ray here and I'll shear with you how to start up a blog.

If you have never started up a blog before, it might seem as though blogging will be difficult to get started with and hard to manage in the long run.

However, if you follow these simple 10 steps, starting up your own successful blog will become easier than you ever imagined!

Step 1: Pick A Topic

Pick a topic that you are passionate about or know a lot about. This is important because it will be the driving force behind your blog and what you write about. For example, if you love cooking and have amazing recipes, then food blogs would be perfect for you! Other topics could include parenting, fashion, technology, money-saving tips, travel tips...just pick something you're interested in.

Step 2: Register a Domain

-If you already have a domain, skip this step.

-Registering a domain is the first and most important step to starting a blog because it sets up your blog with an authoritative URL. There are many options for registering a domain name, but the easiest way is by using a service like GoDaddy or Name Cheap. The majority of hosting services also provide domain registration services, but if you're looking for something more low-cost, consider using Google Domains.

When registering a domain name make sure to add .com at the end of your desired name before submitting it to the registrar so they know what kind of domain you want (i.e., YourNameBlog.com).

Domain names can cost anywhere from $10-$20 per year depending on which registrar you use.

Step 3: Choose a Platform

Choosing a platform is a key step because it will have a big impact on your blog's success. The best platforms for blogging are WordPress, Tumblr, and Medium. However, you may want to consider the features offered by each platform before making your decision.

Advantages of WordPress

Some of the pros of WordPress are that there are themes available, which make design easier; plugins that can add functionality to your site; and it has a larger user base than other platforms.

On the other hand, some cons include that you need more technical skills than other options; there is an expense for hosting fees if you host yourself (which many do); and there can be more downtime if anything goes wrong with your server.

Step 4: Create an Outline

You should take the time to create an outline for your blog. This will help you stay organized and focused on what you want your blog posts to cover, rather than just writing about whatever comes into your head.

You can use an outline as a guide for the topics that you'll need to research, which will make it easier on yourself when you're ready to publish your posts.

Why do I need an outline?

It also makes it much easier for people who may not know how to write blogs to create one of their own.

The outlining process is important because it lets you plan out your post-writing sessions by defining the structure of the content and layout of the site.

Plus, it's going to save you a ton of time in the future if you're thinking about going full time with your blog.

So before publishing anything online, spend some time making an outline and planning things out first.

If you already have posts published online without any kind of framework or blueprint to refer back to them, then it's never too late!

Step 5: Design Your Site

Designing your site is one of the most important steps, since it not only sets up your blog's look and feel but also determines how much time you spend editing content. Ask yourself these questions:

*What do I want my site to look like?

*What colours do I want my website to use?

*Do I want a logo, header, or background     Image?

*What kind of fonts will be used on the website?

*Do I want anything animated on my page, such as parallax scrolling or interactive features like slideshows and videos?

*How big should the text be on my page and what colour should it be?

*What other information will be included on the sidebar (such as archives for older posts)?

*What are some other things that need to go into designing a site before publishing it for viewing by visitors?

Step 6: Publish Content That Resonates With People

One of the most important steps you can take is to publish content that resonates with people.

This means publishing content on a topic that people care about, which will encourage them to read your blog post and share it with others. The more they share, the more likely they are going to return again and again. So what are some topics that resonate with people?

1. People love reading about themselves, so write about things that happen in their lives or interview them for a first-person perspective .

 2. People also love photos, so make sure you include plenty of photos in your posts (don't forget to use captions!).

3. Whether you're writing about beauty tips, cooking recipes, fashion trends or home decor ideas - people have an interest in anything related to style! 4. Lastly, if you want a popular post - be sure to ask questions!

Step 7: Set Goals & Hit Milestones

Setting goals and hitting milestones will help you stay motivated and keep your blog going. It can also help you understand what is working or not working so that you can make changes.

Create a set of goals for the year (even if it's a short one). Think about what your end game will be ask your self questions like;

*What do you want?

*To earn a certain amount of money per month?

*To have a certain number of followers on social media?

*To have 10,000 unique monthly visitors? Keep setting new targets as you reach them and know that it's okay if it takes time for things to happen.

Step 8.1 - Hire an Editor

Hiring an editor is a worthwhile expense. You can hire freelance editors, but it's often worth investing a little more money up front to hire an editor who will work with you on an ongoing basis and provide feedback while the blog is being created.

If you don't have the budget for this, consider hiring an editor as soon as you can afford it. It'll make your blog better, and your readers will be happier.

The cost of an editor may seem like a lot of money at first, but if you do it right the first time, it'll save you time and headache down the line.

Step 8.2 - Guest posting:

One of the best ways to grow your audience is by guest posting on other blogs in your niche.

Even if they're not directly related to what you write about, they're still relevant enough that your audience might follow you over there.

Write a good guest post and link back to your blog so they know where they can read more of what you have to say.

And just think how happy that blogger will be when he or she finds out one of their most-read articles was written by you!

Section 9.1 - Use SEO Practices on your site

SEO gives you an advantage over your competitors. For example,

There are many SEO practices that you can use on your site that give you an advantage over your competitors.

One of the best practices is to use long-tail keywords on your content, as these keywords tend to have a higher conversion rate.

Another great practice is using a service like Google Analytics, which allows you to see where your visitors are coming from and what they're looking at.

It also gives you data about how long people spend reading each page on your site, so you know how well certain pages are converting.

The goal of all this is to help you better understand who's visiting your blog and why they're there so that you can provide them with more relevant content in order to improve the users experience.

Step 10.1- Hire Technical Help

If you're not a computer whiz, it's likely that you'll want some help with your blog.

You may need someone who can design and code the site, or manage the technical aspects of running the blog.

Just like any other hire, make sure you know exactly what you need before searching for someone to work on your project.

The average cost for an independent coder to create a simple WordPress blog ranges from $50-250 per hour, depending on their experience and skill level. On the higher end of that range, designers will charge anywhere from $50-200 per hour.

Step10.2 Build your Email list.

One of the ways I have built my email list over the years is by giving out books, Courses and resource in exchange for their Emails and Names.

For their emails. I've gotten leads sales and made multiple six figures online from Email marketing. If you would actually implement this stuff, You will have a long term strategy it can change your life so now what we want to do is we want to basically convert these this traffic into leads the best way that actually works greatly is to give something of value away for the exchange of an email in accordance of your niche.

Make sure you give it away for free don't charge for it and you will give it away for free in exchange for an email address and this is how you start to generate leads.

Step 5 Email Marketing.

Okay now what I've done is I put my business on autopilot and it makes the money for me.

You have to understand Email marketing and how Powerful it is. for example, What you can do is to set up an email marketing tool called Auto responder.

What is auto responder?

Auto responder allows you to send out multiple and you can set to your preferred time that you want it to send automatically. build trust with your audience and the entire point of email marketing is to stay in communication with your audience.

Give them valuable information which builds trust and convert your list to money.

Over the years, Many people have used blogging to create freedom in their life and so I personally know people who have gained financial freedom through blogging.

Ill recommend this course here If you want to know more about blogging
